RM helps companies maintain robust business intelligence.  We consolidate billions of customer interactions into a clear profile of customer engagement.  We develop and maintain reporting which singularizes the view of data from all sources.  Our reporting has served both the marketing and operational side of business.  The RM analytics methodology involves building-up from “data layers”.  The raw data, kept exactly as received from the source, lives at the “bronze” level.  At the “silver” layer, data is cleaned up and organized.  This data can be translated into actionable insights, but is also further structured into “gold” layer reporting for executives and other key decision-makers.

An e-commerce client has myriad data sources.  Their data sources are siloed and stakeholders access them individually.  For example, a marketing manager needs to go into multiple UI’s each morning to gather traffic and ad channel data (ex. Recharge, Facebook, Google Ads, Pinterest, Shopify, GA).

Situation:

Streamlining analytics through a “stakeholder-first” approach to cloud administration. Includes consolidating billions of customer interactions into a clear dashboard while creating a ‘single source of truth’.

Task:

RM developed end-to-end ETL pipelines, along with a transformation layer (DBT and PySpark). By using our orchestration tools (Airflow and Astronomer), there was minimal downtime. To ensure security and governance, unhashed data permissioned only for senior personnel.

Action:

Centralized reporting, user permission management, and a ‘single source of truth’ replaced a fragmented data environment (ex. csv, excel, SFTP, mySQL, Oracle, NetSuite etc.).
