An international cosmetics brand is operating with servers in several regions. These critical servers keep the business running. Each server had its own UI and scheduling system. There is no bird’s eye view of all workflows, resulting in poor coordination across the company. There is also time wasted toggling between servers.
Situation:
Orchestrate all of the processes under a single UI. Through orchestration, make it easier to squash bugs and manage all workflows simultaneously.
Task:
Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA) used to centralize all processes in a single portal. Each workflow transferred into DAG structure so that they could all be effectively automated and run by the Airflow UI.
Action:
Terraform used to deploy completed MWAA architecture. There is now centralized access and it is much easier to control programs across the company.
